WEB DESIGN

Website Design That Works as Hard as You Do

Most businesses judge a website by how it looks. Customers judge it by how quickly it answers their question. A site that does both brings in enquiries; a site that only does the first one just sits there looking expensive.

We design websites around how people actually behave — scanning, not reading; on a phone, not a desktop; deciding in seconds whether to stay. The result is a site that looks like your business at its best and still gets people to the contact form.

What We Design
  • Business and service websites — for companies that need credibility and enquiries
  • Landing pages — single-purpose pages built for a campaign or an ad spend
  • E-commerce storefronts — product pages and checkout flows designed to reduce drop-off
  • Website redesigns — for sites that get traffic but not results
  • Design systems — reusable components so future pages stay consistent
What’s Included

Every website design project covers:

  • Discovery and sitemap — what pages you need, and how visitors move between them
  • Wireframes — structure agreed before any visual design begins
  • Full visual design — every key page, designed for desktop, tablet and mobile
  • Responsive layouts — designed mobile-first, not shrunk down afterwards
  • Interaction states — hover, active, error, empty and loading states, not just the perfect view
  • Copy guidance — headline and section structure so the writing supports the layout
  • Developer-ready handoff — organised files, spacing rules, colour and type scales
  • Source files — the design files are yours
How We Approach It

Structure before decoration. We agree on what each page needs to say, and in what order, before choosing a single colour. Most sites that underperform fail here — not at the visual stage.

Mobile first, genuinely. We design the narrow screen first and use extra desktop width for comfort rather than for more clutter. Designing wide and shrinking is how you end up with cramped menus and buttons too small to tap.

Speed is a design decision. Oversized hero images, four font weights, autoplaying video and heavy sliders are design choices that slow a site down. We make those trade-offs deliberately instead of discovering them after launch.

One clear action per screen. A section asking visitors to book a call, download a guide, follow on social and browse the blog is really asking them to decide. We keep one obvious next step and make everything else secondary.

Trust built in. Reviews, client logos, clear pricing, real contact details and evidence of the work — placed where hesitation actually happens, not dumped in a footer.

Our Process

1. Discovery. We learn your business, your customers and what a successful site would change for you. We also look at what your competitors’ sites do well and badly.

2. Structure. Sitemap and wireframes for every key page. You approve the skeleton before we spend time making it beautiful.

3. Design. Full visual design, presented page by page across screen sizes. Feedback is collected in one place, not scattered across emails.

4. Refinement. [X] rounds of revisions. We adjust spacing, hierarchy, colour balance and copy placement until each page does its job.

5. Handoff or build. We hand over developer-ready files, or build the site ourselves — most clients choose the second, so nothing gets lost in translation.

Signs Your Current Site Needs a Redesign
  • Visitors arrive but almost never fill in the form
  • It looks broken or cramped on a phone
  • Pages take more than three seconds to load
  • The homepage never plainly states what you do
  • Your team can’t update it without calling a developer
  • The design no longer matches how the business has grown
Frequently Asked Questions

How long does a website design project take?
Typically [4–6 weeks] for a standard business site from discovery to handoff, depending on page count and how quickly feedback comes back.

Do you write the copy too?
We can. Design and copy work better when they’re developed together — we offer content writing as part of the project or work with copy you provide.

Will I be able to update the site myself?
Yes. We build on systems your team can manage, and we hand over a short guide covering the updates you’ll actually make.

Do you also build the site, or only design it?
Both. You can take the design files to your own developer, or we handle design and development as one project.

What if I already have branding?
Even better. We design within your existing identity — colours, typography and logo — rather than replacing it.
